End of line test for Iron

The end-of-line test for an iron has been designed to simulate actual ironing conditions, testing the following parts simultaneously:

  • Teflon Coating
  • Life of Heating Element
  • Life of Thermostats
  • Flexibility of Cord (Normal Usage)

This state-of-the-art design features rod less pneumatic cylinders, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), HMI (Human-Machine Interface), special programs, and a stepper motor drive with permanently lubricated rollers. The toughest fabric, denim, is programmed to roll in steps. Electric irons are made to press the fabric back and forth, causing maximum endurance of the soleplate. During this process, the heating element is switched on and off using the thermostats, and all operations are recorded.

The machine has the following specifications:

  • Human-Machine Interface (HMI)
  • Pneumatic Cylinder
  • Item Under Test (IUT) I1 & I2
  • Fabric Belt
