This ladder flammability test for testing the flame spread of bunched cables mounted on a ladder in vertical layers. The System designed as per IS: 10810-62 & other International Standards

Preparation: 

The test involves securing a specified length of cables vertically onto a standardized steel ladder or tray. 

Ignition: 

A gas burner applies a defined flame to the cables. 

Flame Application:

It’s 40 Minutes for ‘A F/R’ & other FR categories as per standards

Monitoring: 

The test monitors flame spread and other parameters, such as heat release rate and smoke production.
